| Coyote Aerospace and High Mesa Technologies (Santa Fe, NM) received a joint Phase I SBIR to fabricate a
Silent Discharge Plasma instrumentation chamber. This device is being used to study the chemistry
associated with destruction of hazardous materials by use of the silent discharge plasma process.

The dishcarge chamber featured optical ports that could be usedfor spectroscopic investigation of the
intermediate and final compoundsproduced by the plasma. In the above photo the blue area is a plasma
being generated in the cell. A separate power conditioning and instrumentationrack (not shown)
accompanied this instrument.
